The Rohingya Boat People

An article in the recent Star newspaper revealed that the Rohingya refugees are victims of modern day slave trade. Not wanted in their own country, Myanmar, and harassed by the Police and Immigration officials in Thailand and Malaysia, these stateless people have become easy victims of the slave trade.


Those caught in Malaysia were deported to Thailand. According to a report, here is how it works:
