Trip To The North (3)

The next day, we had to make a side trip to Taiping to source for some needed spare parts for the installation. Taiping is just like any other typical towns in Malaysia. However, I noticed that there are many fascinating pre-war buildings. There was little time to explore the town except to look for the spare parts and buy some packed Chinese lunches for the two Chinese colleagues who were working on the barge. One, a Chinese national had been eating Malay food which he is not used to.
