It looks like I have to dump the few tins of sardine and a dozen packets of Maggi mee in my cabinet. This is what the newspaper said about both the products:
Eighteen types of Khong Guan and Khian Guan products which, along with the beloved Ayam brand sardines and Maggi mee, are staples in any Malaysian household, have tested positive for melamine after using the leavening agent imported from China.
It is imperative that both the manufacturers assure that their products are safe. I wonder if other brands of instant mee also resorted to using melamine?
