The Malaysian Minister of Works, Samy Vellu who recently attended the Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas in India got more than what he expected. The convention gathered together the expertise and knowledge of the overseas Indian communities to explore ways of integrating them into India's development. The Minister's aim, no doubt, was to take this opportunity to refute HINDRAF's claims and explain how much the Malaysian government has done for the Indians in the country.
